About The Event

Night Vision 101 - Fundamentals and Movements

In this session we will be covering the basics of everything necessary to get started in your journey towards operating with Night Vision.

We will cover the basics, ranging from:

  • Helmet setup options, mounting night vision, and proper adjustment
  • NVG options (single tube, duals, ect), explanation of parts and different ways to focus/use your night vision for different distances and situations
  • LAM (Laser aiming module) options, setup, accessories, zeroing techniques and proper use in different settings
  • Rifle setup for night vision, LAM, optic, accessories placement and use
  • Becoming acclimated to moving while under Night Vision
  • Passive (red dot) and Active (laser) shooting techniques
  • Shooting positions and shooting from barriers

This is a true beginner NVG class and students of all skill levels are welcome.

During daylight hours we will be focused on knowledge sharing and implementation of safety protocols and practice so everyone is ready to begin training confidently when the sun sets.

We will be actively moving and shooting under Night Vision by the end of the night and all students will be prepared for our Dynamic Movement NVG courses in the future.

This will be a 200rd count course
