About The Event
Welcome to the Moonlighter's Night Vision - Target Engagement Proficiency (Active/Passive Aiming)
If you did not attend T.E.P. 1 or 2 you CAN attend this course (Prerequisites below).
Join us for an intermediate firearms class tailored for our Night Vision community from 4 pm until midnight.
In this session, we’ll delve into intermediate and advanced NVG applications with a 400-round count focusing on enhancing Target Engagement Proficiency.
Our previous T.E.P. series focused on “Active” (laser) aiming techniques (T.E.P. 1) and “Passive” (red dot) aiming techniques (T.E.P. 2).
This iteration will briefly cover the previous tactics and skills covered earlier in the series and then quickly move into dynamic movements. Students will be engaging targets while moving laterally, forward, and backwards.
The premise of this course is to instill our “Run and Gun” tactics taught in our daytime “Dynamic Movement” courses.
The daylight hours will focus on the different variations of reloads and malfunction to build muscle memory before transitioning to low light scenarios. (Drills will be varied and differ from T.E.P. 1&2) Shooting exercises will occur throughout the day and night.
As darkness falls, we’ll progress from static to dynamic drills. The curriculum will include a brief review of our Dynamic Movements course followed by specialized engagement methods tailored for night vision.
Students will practice shooting from obstructions and modified positions. Protective clothing is highly recommended.
The night's final drill will involve buddy team or small team movements, engaging targets while utilizing techniques learned throughout the class.
Due to the nature of this training our class capacity will be 10 students.
Participants’ kit setups will be assessed prior to the course. Please reach out for assistance if needed.
